About Our Wines

You probably never gave it much thought, but you can actually produce “world class” premium wines in dozens of varietal styles right at home. It’s not much more complicated than making orange juice from concentrate!

Here at “My Brew Heaven” we stock the ingredients so you can make award-winning White wines like Australian or California Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Johannisberg Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Piesporter, Italian Verdicchio, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, White Bordeaux, Zinfandel Blush… and more!

For Red wine lovers, we stock ingredients for Barolo, Australian Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend, Beaujolais, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chateauneuf du Pape, Red Zinfandel, Chianti, Cabernet & Shiraz blend, and Super Tuscan… and more!

Along with those styles, we also feature a delectable array of fruity, chillable blended wine kits with varieties like “Peach & Perfection”, “Strawberry Sensation”, “Green Apple”, and “Blackberry Blast”, Pomegranate Wildberry, Watermelon, Blueberry… even Spanish Sangria!

You’ll make your wines at a cost per bottle beginning at about $2.90 per bottle. The average cost of our most premium wines breaks out at just over $5 per bottle! So you can see that home wine making is incredibly economical! The wines you produce at around $3.00 a bottle are comparable to retail wines selling for $8-$10 a bottle, while the wines you produce for $5+ per bottle would easily retail in excess of $25!
Making the Wine

Your wine ingredients come boxed in a “kit” which includes 6 gallons of the pure varietal juice of the style you intend to produce, concentrated but still in liquid form. You simply pour the juice into your fermenting equipment and add any included nutrients and yeast per the instructions. A week or so later, your wine-in-progress is transferred to a second fermenting vessel to complete fermentation. On about the 18th to 21st day of production, you will add final included minerals, which stabilize your wine and settle out any final sediment. Ultimately, between 4 and 6 weeks from the day you started your wine, it will be bright and clear, ready for you to bottle. You can now begin to enjoy the “fruits of your labors”. Since your batch will typically yield about 30 bottles, some of your wine will get the extra benefit of long-term aging, giving further depth of character to your red wines in particular.
